With the Sensation/ReSiKL Recycled Collection, we wanted to challege ourselves by taking a different approach to our raw material selection and try to confront a wider environmental problem, specifically plastic water bottles in landfill. It is predicted that by 2050, there’ll be more plastic than fish in our oceans. Every 60 seconds, over 1,000,000 plastic bottles are discarded, totalling to over 450,000,000,000 every year. Tp help fight this, we set our objectives of creating and end to end fully treaceable recycled polyester bed line product.
